Privacy policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
This policy covers the independent Keepsake beta at kpsk.net. Keepsake is a personal project for collecting links, images, notes and collage boards.
The beta waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the time you joined and a record of your invitation request and whether you chose to receive occasional Keepsake updates. The waitlist is stored privately in Cloudflare D1. Joining does not create a Clerk account or give access to an archive.
We use this address to send your beta invitation and, only if you opt in, occasional Keepsake updates. Contact calebcphotos@gmail.com to leave the list or request removal. Cloudflare processes network information to limit abusive submissions; we do not store IP addresses in the waitlist database. Signup does not send an automatic confirmation email.
Account information
Clerk handles sign-in and account sessions. If you choose Google sign-in, we request only OpenID, email and profile information, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts.
Keepsake uses verified account and session information to control access. We do not receive or store your Google password. Authentication cookies and related browser storage support sign-in and session security.
Your saved content
When you use the library, Keepsake stores the links, imported records, notes, folders, board layouts and files you choose to add, together with metadata needed to display and organize them. Cloudflare provides application hosting, database and file-storage infrastructure.
Access is limited during the beta. Creating an account does not grant access to another person’s archive or guarantee access to a new library. The earlier ChatGPT Sites prototype remains separate until its archive is migrated; its hosting platform’s policies also apply when you use that prototype.
Sharing and external media
A shared board can be viewed by people who have its active view link. Share only material you intend those viewers to see. Private library notes are separate from notes deliberately placed on a shared board.
Opening previews, images or embedded players may send requests to the original media provider, such as Google/YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Threads or X. Those providers may receive your IP address and browser information and apply their own cookies and privacy policies. Saving a link does not mean Keepsake has archived the original video or audio.
How information is used
Information is used to provide sign-in, operate the library and boards, load media previews, respond to support requests and investigate failures or abuse. Hosting and authentication providers also process request and security information needed to operate their services.
No advertising or third-party analytics tracking is configured in this beta. We do not sell personal information or use your saved content for advertising.
Retention and removal
Saved content generally remains until it is removed. Trash, board revision history and backup copies can retain earlier versions after an item is removed from the active library. During the beta, contact us to request access, correction or removal of your account information or saved content.
Account deletion in Clerk and removal of archive content are separate operations at this stage. Do not assume that deleting a sign-in account automatically purges its archive or backups. We will explain the current removal process when you contact us.
Contact and updates
Contact the project operator at calebcphotos@gmail.com with privacy questions or data requests. We may update this policy as the beta changes; the revision date appears above.
